Manila: Seven people were reported killed while two others were missing due to Tropical Storm Ramil, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said Monday. In its latest situational report, the NDRRMC also said one person was injured due to the cyclone. Five of the reported fatalities were from Calabarzon (Southern Tagalog) while two were from Region 6 (Western Visayas). Albay: A media practitioner was wounded in a shooting incident along the Maharlika Highway in Barangay Morera, Guinobatan, Albay, on Monday, according to the Police Regional Office 5 (PRO-5). Mixed Oil Price Adjustments This Week

Manila: Gasoline prices are scheduled to increase by PHP0.10 per liter on Tuesday, but diesel and kerosene prices will decline by PHP0.70 and PHP0.60 per liter at the same time. Manila: The government initiated reforms to foster innovation across all sectors, a report released by the Department of Economy, Planning, and Development (DEPDev) showed. The 2024 Progress Report on the Implementation of the Philippine Innovation Act revealed reforms such as innovation grants, policy studies, capacity-building initiatives, and organizational expansion, alongside celebrating the 2024 National Innovation Day.
