Benguet Sees 74% Decline in Dengue Cases, Urges Continued Vigilance
Benguet: The Provincial Health Office (PHO) of Benguet has reported a 74 percent reduction in dengue cases in 2025 but has emphasized the importance of maintaining preventive measures to avoid complacency. According to Philippines News Agency, Dr. Cham Bacuso of Benguet PHO stated that from January 1 to August 9 this year, 1,300 dengue cases were recorded in the province, a significant decrease from the 4,803 cases reported during the same period last year.
