KUANTAN, Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail officially began work at the new Sultan Ahmad Shah Administrative Centre, KotaSAS here. Increase In Number Of Flood Victims In Perak, Selangor

KUALA LUMPUR, The number of flood victims in Perak and Selangor has risen to 225 people this afternoon, compared to 169 people earlier in the day. The Perak State Disaster Management Committee Secretariat, in a statement, said that as of 2 pm, some 82 people from 19 families were taking shelter at Dewan Kampung Pauh Behrang Stesen relief centre, up from 56 people in the morning. KUALA LUMPUR, Six men were arrested on suspicion of stealing Telekom Malaysia (TM) cables in an incident at Jalan Besar Enggang AU2 near Ampang, last Saturday. Ekasih Fraud Repeat Offender Sentenced To 12 Months Prison

MANJUNG, A labourer, who had previously been convicted of multiple similar offenses, was sentenced to 12 months in prison by the Magistrate’s Court today for fraudulently deceiving yet another elderly man regarding the eKasih programme. Muhammad Halmi Ismail, 49, pleaded guilty to the charge before Magistrate T. Kavita Tangga Rajoo.
