‘Kristine’ strong winds force evacuation of 244 families in Antique

SAN JOSE DE BUENAVISTA, Antique -A total of 244 families or 759 individuals in Antique evacuated to safer places due to strong winds brought by Severe Tropical Storm Kristine (international name: Trami), the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) reported. Manila senior citizens to get P1-K monthly allowance starting 2025

Manila: Elderly residents in the country’s capital city will see their monthly allowance from the city government double starting next year. Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna on Thursday signed Ordinance 9081, increasing the monthly cash benefit of the city’s senior citizens from the present PHP500 to PHP1,000 effective January 2025.
