DSWD to regularize at least 4K contractual employees by yearend

Manila: The leadership of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), together with the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), on Monday assured the Senate Committee on Finance that it will be able to regularize around 4,000 to 5,000 contractual employees before the end of the year. Manila: Seven out of 10 Filipinos will not support political candidates with known leanings to China in the 2025 midterm elections, think-tank Stratbase ADR Institute said on Monday. Senator wants to reform teacher’s professionalization

Manila: Senator Sherwin Gatchalian on Monday urged for the passage of a measure seeking to strengthen the professional standards and pool of qualified teachers, while enabling the Teacher Education Institutions (TEIs) to reinforce the constructive alignment between the curriculum, teacher training, and licensure examination.
