High Court Acquits 75-year-old Father In Son’s Murder Case

The High Court here today discharged and acquitted a father of the charge of murdering his son three years ago. Judicial Commissioner Dr Hazlina Hussain freed 75-year-old S. Krisman after ruling that the defence had successfully raised reasonable doubt at the end of its case. Krisman was accused of killing his son, K. Apacnaidu, 37, at a house on Jalan Kemudi, Taman Bernam Jaya, Ulu Bernam, between 11 am and 11.30 am on Nov 3, 2021. The female suspect involved in an accident which saw three University of Technology Mara (UiTM) students perish has no record of receiving any treatment for her alleged mental illness. Tahfiz School Teacher Charged With Physical Sexual Assault On Nine-Year-Old Boy

A tahfiz school teacher pleaded not guilty in the Sessions Court here today to physically sexually assaulting a nine-year-old boy. Muhammad Ilyas Jamaludin, 33, is charged with committing the offence at the school in Tasik Senangin, Lenggeng from early to the end of last year. The charge, under Section 14 (b) of the Sexual Offenses Against Children Act 2017, provides imprisonment for up to 20 years and whipping upon conviction. The Department of Fisheries (DOF) today denied that its director general Datuk Adnan Hussain had made a statement claiming that some eateries buy sick chicken at low prices or obtain dead poultry for free.
