JOHOR BAHRU, Wanita DAP chief Teo Nie Ching has been elected as Johor DAP chairman for the 2027/2027 term, replacing Deputy Investment, Trade and Industry Minister Liew Chin Tong, who has held the position since 2014. In a statement, Johor DAP announced that Teo, who is also Deputy Communications Minister and Kulai MP, garnered 692 votes, the third-highest in the election at the Johor DAP Ordinary Convention today. SIBU, The Sarawak government has channelled various assistance amounting to RM149,750, including in cash, to victims of a fire in Kampung Hilir here, said state Women, Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development Minister Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah. VIENTIANE, Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan and Investment, Trade, and Industry Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz have arrived in Vientiane to attend the 44th and 45th ASEAN Summits and Related Summits. Both ministers arrived today at Wattay International Airport at 7.45 pm local time (8.45 pm Malaysian time). The summits will be held at the National Convention Centre (NCC) in the capital from Oct 8 to 11.
