Elephant Food Bank: A Solution For Human-elephant Conflict – Chan

KLUANG, The “Elephant Food Bank” project in Johor will be used as a testing ground to find a long-term solution to human-elephant conflict in agricultural areas and settlements at jungle fringes. Deputy Plantation and Commodities Minister Datuk Chan Foong Hin said the project, also known as the elephant feeding area, is managed by the Johor Wildlife and National Parks Department (Perhilitan) in collaboration with plantation stakeholders. Penang Awards RM553,200 In Incentives To SUKMA Medal Winners

GEORGE TOWN, The Penang government has awarded a total of RM553,200 in incentives to athletes who contributed to the medal tally, along with coaches, managers and sports associations involved in the recent 24th Malaysia Games (SUKMA) held in Sarawak last month. PROBEST 2.0 2024: Agrobank Provides RM1.69 Mln Fund To Empower Young Agropreneur Community

PUTRAJAYA, The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, in collaboration with Agrobank, will empower the young agropreneur community through the Graduate Agricultural Youth Development Incubator Programme (PROBEST 2.0 2024). With an allocation of RM1.69 million, the programme is a youth development initiative aimed at providing opportunities to youth, especially the asnaf and B40 groups, in institutions of higher learning to gain entrepreneurship knowledge, besides helping them generate income.
