Over 90 Programmes Planned By Melaka Japen To Enliven National Month Celebrations

The Melaka Information Department (JaPen) is organising over 90 programmes across all 84 MADANI Communities to enliven the National Month 2024 celebrations. Its director Ab Rasil Hajatil said that these programmes will include flying the Jalur Gemilang campaign and the ‘1 Rumah 1 Jalur Gemilang’ initiative, aimed at fostering national pride and patriotism within the community. ‘All segments of society, regardless of status, race, or religion, are encouraged to hoist the national flag throughout this month, whether at home, in offices, at business premises, or in village areas,’ he said. Number Of Labour Force Up 1.1 Pct In Q2 2024 – DoSM

The number of labour force in the second quarter (Q2) of 2024 showed a positive trend with a 1.1 per cent increase to 17.15 million persons compared to 16.96 million in Q1 of this year.
