KUALA LUMPUR, MUI Properties Bhd has received an unusual market activity (UMA) query from Bursa Malaysia Securities today due to the sharp rise in its share price and trading volume. At the close today, the company’s shares rose by 10.5 sen to 35 sen, with 41.33 million shares changing hands. It opened at 25 sen and touched its highest at 36.5 sen during the trading session. “Investors are advised to take note of the company’s reply to the UMA query which will be posted on Bursa Malaysia’s website under the company announcements when making their investment decision,” said Bursa Malaysia

KENINGAU, The export revenue from the cocoa industry reached RM4.8 billion as of May 2024. In a statement today, the Ministry of Plantation and Commodities said this amounted to approximately 58 per cent of the cocoa industry’s export revenue of RM8.2 billion last year. “This achievement clearly shows the industry’s importance as a catalyst for the country’s economy,” said Plantation and Commodities Minister Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani.
