SUNWAY PROPERTY RECORDS RM1.1 BLN IN NATIONWIDE BOOKINGS

KUALA LUMPUR, Sunway Property, the property arm of Sunway Bhd, has recorded RM1.1 billion in bookings across its 14 properties nationwide under its Signature Series 2024 campaign. In a statement today, the company announced that this marked the third consecutive year of growth, surpassing RM1 billion in bookings last year and RM800 million in 2022. Toxic red tide now affects Biliran Island

TACLOBAN CITY: Red tide presence expanded in Biliran Island this week, with seven bays in Samar province still affected by this toxic organism, the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) said on Wednesday. In its advisory, the agency said red tide has also been detected in the coastal waters of Biliran province, based on the latest seawater sampling. Meralco to restore electricity once flooding subsides

MANILA: The Manila Electric Company (Meralco) assured its customers on Wednesday that power restoration will be immediately done once floodwaters subside in areas affected by Typhoon Carina and the southwest monsoon (habagat). “We are also closely monitoring the flooded areas.
