Election gun ban violators now 1,931: PNP

A total of 1,931 people have been arrested for violating the election gun ban, the Philippine National Police (PNP) said on Sunday. In a statement, the PNP said 1,871 of those apprehended were civilians, 35 security guards, 16 police officers, and nine military personnel. It added that a total of 1,822 police operations yielded 1,490 firearms, 8,188 pieces of ammunition, and 703 deadly weapons. Two clinics in Marrakech wants to hire 100 Filipino nurses, according to the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) in this Moroccan capital city. 66% of 221K fully vaxxed PNP personnel get booster shots

The Philippine National Police (PNP) raised to 66.50 percent its booster vaccine rate as of Sunday. In its latest Covid-19 tracker, the PNP said 147,622 out of 221,990 fully vaccinated personnel already have the added protection against Covid-19. Overall, 98.81 percent of the 224,668-strong police force is already vaccinated.
