PRRD rejects PDP-Laban-PDDS-Lakas-CMD coalition

President Rodrigo R. Duterte has rejected a coalition among the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino – Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban), Pederalismo ng Dugong Dakilang Samahan and Lakas (PDDS), and Lakas – Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-CMD). In a meeting with Oriental Mindoro leaders in Calapan City on Friday, Duterte said he could not allow PDP-Laban and the PDDS to ally with Lakas-CMD because of presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. The President, who chairs PDP-Laban and is running for senator under PDDS, said he could not support Marcos because of his “weak” personality. The PDDS is an allied party of the ruling PDP-Laban.

RT-PCR test not mandatory for partially vaxxed on-site workers

Partially-vaccinated employees tasked to do on-site work are not required to take regular reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) tests, Malacañang said on Friday.
