17 nabbed, P500K shabu seized in Bulacan drug ops

More than PHP500,000 worth of illegal drugs were seized and 17 suspected drug personalities were arrested in different anti-drug operations in this province on Tuesday and Wednesday morning. In a police report, Col. Manuel M. Lukban Jr., acting Bulacan provincial director, said five of the arrested drug suspects are high-value target individuals. Imported vehicle sales up in September

Vehicle importers are becoming more optimistic towards the end of the year as sales of outsourced cars increased in September. The Association of Vehicle Importers and Distributors (AVID) on Wednesday reported that sales last month grew 26 percent to 4,946 units from 3,919 units sold in August this year. SC extends deadline for examinees to pick preferred bar exam site

The Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday extended the deadline for examinees in the next bar examination to select their preferred local testing center. “In view of some technical issues in the Bar Personal Login Unified System (Bar PLUS) the Venue Matching Module shall close on Oct. 24, 2021 subject to further extension if the technical issues persist,” the SC said in a bar bulletin. Navy personnel train for operation of missile system

Personnel of the Philippine Navy’s (PN) Naval Combat Systems Center and crew members of the BRP Jose Rizal (FF-150), the country’s first missile frigate, have completed their training for the operation and maintenance of the ship’s newly delivered Mistral 3 surface-to-air missile (SAM) system.
