Cops nab 2, seize P680-K shabu in Bacolod City

Joint police operatives seized some PHP680,000 worth of suspected shabu from three suspects during a buy-bust in Barangay 31 here on Sunday afternoon. A report from the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) on Monday identified the arrested suspects as Rolly Moncillo Asumbre, 24, a high-value individual and resident of Barangay 14 in this city and Inocentes Villanueva Posadas, 43, of Barangay Cabanbanan, Himamaylan City. President Rodrigo Duterte has approved the pilot implementation of face-to-face classes in areas classified with “minimal risk” for the coronavirus. Sagada asks to allow face-to-face classes

The Schools Board of Sagada and the Parent Teachers Associations (PTAs) in the town are asking to allow face-to-face classes for students considering the poor cellphone and internet connectivity and the difficulty of parents to teach their children. Mayor James Pooten, in a phone interview on Monday, said the residents want that all schools in the municipality be included in the face-to-face classes. TESDA to train 20 NBP inmates in urban farming
