Pasig events place ordered closed after hosting party

Authorities have caught 41 individuals violating protocols on mass gatherings and ordered the closing of an establishment in Pasig City. Mayor Vico Sotto said the culprits attended a birthday party on Thursday, a violation of enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) rules. “Ang titigas ng ulo (Stubborn)!” Sotto posted on Facebook on Friday. 4 workers test positive for Covid-19 at Zambo checkpoint

Four inbound travelers have tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) based on a confirmatory swab test conducted to validate the result of their random antigen test. The antigen testing was conducted at the Licomo border on Wednesday when the city government started to require inbound travelers, including essential workers, amid the threat of the Covid-19 Delta variant. 4K more Covid-19 recoveries, 13K new infections: DOH

Another 4,322 persons have recovered from the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) on Friday, bringing the total number of recoveries in the country to 1,587,069. In its daily Covid-19 bulletin, the Department of Health (DOH) said this is equivalent to a 92.6 percent recovery rate out of a total of 1,713,302 infections since the beginning of the pandemic last year. Some 13,177 new infections were also recorded, bringing the number of active cases to 96,395 or 5.6 percent of all cases in the country. PMA moves entrance exam to September

The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) on Friday announced that the entrance examination this year for applicants wanting to join the uniformed service has been moved to a later date.
