Eleazar orders frequent inspection of police jails

The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Friday ordered the conduct of regular inspections in detention cells in all police stations. “At the police station level alone, we should ensure that detainees will not be able to commit crimes. ARTA pushes for possible gov’t online data sharing

The Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) is pushing for online sharing of data on birth, death, and marriage, among others, with government agencies. Members of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority – Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BTA-BARMM) have agreed to prioritize the enactment of 10 key legislative measures for this year. Saint Louis University-Baguio picked as one of Bar Exam sites

The Supreme Court of the Philippines on Friday signed a contract with Saint Louis University (SLU) in Baguio City to make it one of the testing sites in this year’s Bar Examinations. There are 15 other confirmed sites nationwide as the Bar resumes, using digital format, after the coronavirus pandemic canceled it last year.
