Some PHP700,000 worth of illegal drugs were seized from two drug peddlers during a buy-bust in Barangay Moras Dela Paz, Sto. Tomas town in this province on Wednesday.
In a report on Thursday, Col. Arnold Thomas Ibay, director of the Pampanga Police Provincial Office, said authorities launched the operation which resulted in the arrest of Richard Cayanan, 28, Barangay Dolores, City of San Fernando, and Kennex Musngi, 26, of Barangay Lagundi, Mexico, Pampanga.
Ibay said seized from the duo were four plastic sachets, all containing shabu, weighing approximately 105 grams with a Dangerous Drug Board-estimated street value of PHP714,000.
The suspects will be charged with violations of Section 5 in relation to Sections 26 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act
