To search, profile and recruit, or simply to provide the best talents for your company, this is what Viventis Search Asia stands for.
Viventis has been in the business of recruitment since 2001 with a number of companies trusting them to provide outstanding workforce solutions and help cater to their various corporate needs.
Celebrating its 14 years in the business, Viventis held an inaugural ceremony at its new office at 45 San Miguel Avenue, Pasig, on Monday with the unveiling of the Three Graces (2014), a painting by national artist for the visual arts Benedicto Bencab Cabrera. The painting was said to signify gratitude for a bountiful harvest, and is now a permanent fixture at the Viventis headquarters. The ribbon-cutting was attended by former Sen. Francisco S. Tatad, Sen. Juan Edgardo M. Angara and Yu Ming Chin to officially welcome guests.
Also attending were Tessie Sy-Coson, vice chairman of SM Investments Corp.; musician Rico Blanco; and host Victor Basa, a media personality. Hailing from Singapore, Chin, founder and executive director of Viventis, is a firm believer of the Filipino talent. When asked why he set up shop in the Philippines, he simply said that the Philippines is a natural capital for human talents in the region and also on a multicultural level, it is a natural talent hub, which I simply took notice of.
He has been residing in the Philippines for 29 years now. He studied and taught at the University of Asia and the Pacific for a time, and has majored in the information-technology [IT] industry. When he decided to go through with his dream of launching his own business, he put in all his savings to his business venture, taking a huge gamble, but the risk definitely paid off since Viventis has been recruiting for 14 years now and still counting.
The theme of the event being art-meets-business, Chin had two reasons why he decided to merge both. The first hinges from his belief that their executive-search service is a curator of talents in the recruitment industry. His second belief is that art needs to be looked at in depth.
He told the BusinessMirror, I see executive search as a curator of talents. And in art, being a curator, you look at its finest form. And second I really enjoy his [BenCab] work. So it’s never an investment.
The company’s clientele has been growing ever since it started. They have been rendering their services to industries, such as retail, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, hospitality and property development.
Through the company’s years of operation, Chin has high hopes and aspirations for the company’s continued success. With his entrepreneurial skills, his knowledge in IT, fascination for art, hard work and a little help from his local partners, Viventis Search Asia has now become one of the leaders in recruiting the country’s best talents to lead local businesses.
