MANILA -- Visayas and northern Luzon may continue to experience rains until Thursday due to the tail-end of a cold front and the northeast monsoon affecting these areas, state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA said Wednesday afternoon.
The agency said the tail-end of cold front still affects eastern Visayas, while the northeast monsoon is now affecting extreme northern Luzon.
PAGASA expects cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms over eastern and central Visayas, Caraga and Bicol likely until Thursday.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains may be experience over Batanes and Calayan Group of Islands.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country may have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from northeast to east may prevail over Luzon and eastern Visayas.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the east with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said.
