MANILA-- An upcoming reality television show is looking for startup entrepreneurs to pitch their business ideas to investors.
"The Final Pitch", a business reality TV show developed by Manila-based Streetpark Productions Inc., aims to match entrepreneurs and investors.
The TV show also intends to provide mentoring from business experts.
The winning startup entrepreneur will get funding from investors.
Currently, the TV show has four investors -- Potato Corner founder and venture capitalist Jose Magsaysay; Sterling Group of Companies and SL Agritech chairman and CEO Henry Lim Bon Liong; Calata Corp. chairman and CEO Joseph Calata; and MFT Group of Companies CEO Mica Tan.
A slot for the last investor is still open to established firms that are exploring opportunities to partner with startups.
As a reality TV show, "The Final Pitch" will be giving startup contestants a number of challenges to hurdle, such as exploring funding options, refining their business plans, and marketing their products and services.
Streetpark Production invites startups and companies to join the business reality show by submitting their applications via the show's website www.thefinalpitch.ph.
Deadline for submission of applications is on March 17.
"The Final Pitch" will be hosted by show creator, John Aguilar and will air on History Channel in May. (PNA)
