Tail end of cold front affecting Bicol region, Eastern Visayas

MANILA The eastern part of the country will experience cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rain showers and thunderstorms due to the tail-end of a cold front Monday.

In its 4 a.m. forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said these areas include Bicol region, Eastern Visayas, and Quezon province.

Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon is affecting the rest of Luzon.

Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region and Ilocos provinces will have cloudy skies with light rains caused by the northeast monsoon.

Mindanao, Palawan and the rest of the Visayas will have partly cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to localized thunderstorm.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains due to the northeast monsoon.

Temperature in Metro Manila Manila ranges from 22-31 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 20-27; Baguio City 12-23 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu 25-31 degrees Celsius; and Metro Davao 24-33 degrees Celsius. (PNA)
