We are appealing to the general public for their utmost understanding, exercise patience and leniency for the inconvenience, SPD spokesperson Supt. Jenny Tecson said in a Viber message sent to reporters.

Earlier on Wednesday, Xi met with House of Representatives Speaker Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, Senate President Vicente Sotto III and the leaders of the Filipino-Chinese community.
