MANILA-- With President Rodrigo Duterte's second State-of-the-Nation-Address (SONA) just a few hours away, rallies conducted by militant groups remain peaceful so far Monday.
This was the impression given by the inital report provided by NCRPO spokesperson Chief Insp. Kimberly Molitas as of 8 a.m.
She added that police officers from Quezon City Police District's are currently monitoring an estimated 3,000 rallyists conducting protest actions at the National Housing Authority near Quezon City Circle while around 1,200 rallyists of IBC-13 have peacefully dispersed from Sandiganbayan, Commonwealth while another 150 protesters from PISTON have gathered in front of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board office in East Avenue.
Nothing untoward has been noted in these protest actions so far, Molitas pointed out.
