The country will experience scattered rains on Saturday with the trough of a low-pressure area (LPA) affecting sections of Luzon and the Visayas, and the southwest monsoon the rest of the country.
In its daily weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the trough of an LPA will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in the Bicol region and the provinces of Nueva Ecija, Aurora, and Quezon.
Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms brought by the southwest monsoon.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country, meanwhile, will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers brought by the southwest monsoon and localized thunderstorms.
Moderate winds headed northeast to northwest will blow over the northern and eastern sections of Luzon, resulting in moderate coastal waters.
Eastern Visayas will have light to moderate winds headed northwest and slight to moderate coastal waters.
The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds headed southwest to west, with slight to moderate coastal waters.
The temperature in Metro Manila will range from 26°C to 31°C; Baguio City, 16°C to 24°C; Puerto Princesa City, 25°C to 32°C; Metro Cebu, 25°C to 31°C; Metro Davao, 24°C to 33°C; and Zamboanga City, 24°C to 35°C. (PNA)
