Scattered rains in parts of northern Luzon Friday

MANILA The tail-end of a cold front and the northeast monsoon will bring scattered rain showers in some parts of Luzon Friday.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its 4 a.m. weather forecast that the tail-end of a cold front affecting the eastern section of northern Luzon would bring rain showers in Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Region.

Ilocos Region will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies and isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorm.

Temperature in Metro Manila ranges from 25-31 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 22-26 degrees Celsius; Baguio City 16-25 degrees Celsius; SBMA 24-32 degrees Celsius; Lipa City 23-32 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu 25-32 degrees Celsius; and Metro Davao 26-34 degrees Celsius. (PNA)
