Saipan student on University of San Francisco Dean’s Honor Roll

A MEMBER of the CNMI soccer team has been included on the University of San Francisco Dean’s Honor Roll for the fall 2015 semester.

Jehn Joyner
Jehn Joyner, who graduated from Saipan International School last year, is studying at the university’s School of Management.

University of San Francisco School of Management Dean Elizabeth B. Davis commended Joyner for his academic excellence.

She said Joyner’s inclusion on the Dean’s Honor Roll is based on a combination of his cumulative and fall 2015 semester grade point averages.

Peggy Takahashi, School of Management associate dean for undergraduate programs, told Joyner: “The Dean’s Honor Roll is one of the means by which the School of Management recognizes your hard work, talent, and commitment to education.”

Joyner is the brother of 2015 Miss Marianas Jian Joyner, and is the son of Dr. John B. Joyner and Yasuko H. Joyner.

In high school, Jehn Joyner was a member of the National Honor Society and treasurer of the Student Council.

He became a CNMI national soccer team member after joining the U10 age group and has represented the commonwealth in tournaments held in Guam, Taiwan, Nepal, the Philippines and Japan.

He later completed the D-License coaching course and coached the MPU U15 team and U12 National Elite Academy.
