Ridge of HPA, easterlies affecting PH: PAGASA

MANILA Most parts of the country will be sunny Wednesday but with clouds in the afternoon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

The state weather agency said this is due to a ridge of high-pressure area (HPA) affecting northern Luzon.

Easterlies coming from the Pacific Ocean is also affecting the rest of the country, PAGASA said in its 24-hour forecast.

Metro Manila and the rest of the Philippines will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms.

Temperature in Metro Manila will range from 25 to 33 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City at 25 to 38 degrees Celsius; Baguio City at 17 to 25 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu at 26 to 33 degrees Celsius; and Zamboanga City at 24 to 33 degrees Celsius. (Lily O. Ramos/PNA)
