MANILA-- A ridge of high pressure area is prevailing over Northern and Central Luzon's eastern section, state weather bureau PAGASA said on Tuesday.
In its 24-hour forecast, PAGASA said cloudy skies with light to moderate rain showers and thunderstorms will be experienced over Bicol, Western Visayas, Mindoro, Aurora and Polilio Island.
Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies will prevail over Metro Manila and rest of the country with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.
Moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the west to southwest will prevail over extreme Northern Luzon where coastal waters will be moderate to occasionally rough, according to PAGASA.
"Light to moderate winds coming from the east to southeast will prevail over the Visayas and rest of Luzon and coming from the west to southwest over Mindanao with slight to moderate seas," it added.
