Rainshowers continue to prevail over most parts of the country on Thursday.

State weather bureau Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the low pressure area (LPA) was last spotted in the vicinity of Coron, Palawan.

Northeast monsoon is affecting northern luzon, it added.

Cloudy skies with light rains is expected over the regions of Cordillera, Ilocos and Cagayan Valley.

Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon and the regions of eastern and western Visayas, CARAGA, SOCCSKSARGEN and Davao.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over the rest of the archipelago.

Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds will blow from northeast over Luzon, and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

Light to moderate winds coming from east to northeast will prevail over Visayas and Mindanao with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA added.
