MANILA -- Rains will prevail over most parts of the archipelago, state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Sunday.
Tropical depression "Bising" was last eyed at 410 km east of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur, moving north northwest at 11 kph.
'Bising' has a maximum sustained winds of 45 kph near the center, and gustiness of up to 55 kph.
Also, PAGASA said northeast monsoon is affecting Luzon.
Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms will be experienced over Visayas, Mindanao, Bicol and Quezon province.
Cloudy skies with light rains is expected over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and central Luzon.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from northeast will prevail over Luzon, Visayas and the eastern section of Mindanao.
Coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from northeast with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said. (PNA)
