Pushers yield P500K worth of shabu in Pampanga

MANILA, Philippines – Anti-narcotics agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) nabbed two suspected pushers during a recent buy bust operation in Pampanga, seizing an estimated P500,000 of illegal drugs.

PDEA director general Arturo Cacdac Jr. identified the suspects as Fatima Samporado and Mauli Rico, both 35, and residents of Arlegui, Quiapo, Manila.

Reports showed that last May 12, around 2 p.m., elements of PDEA Regional 3 (PDEA RO3) arrested Samporado and Rico after they sold a medium-sized plastic sachet containing suspected shabu weighing about 150 grams to a poseur-buyer inside a bus terminal near the vicinity of a popular outlet shopping mall in the San Fernando City.

Samporado and Rico, who are temporarily detained in PDEA RO3 jail in Camp Olivas, Pampanga, will be facing illegal drugs charges.
