Power grid operator, National Grid Corp. of the Philippines, reported that it has restored the transmission line providing power to Bukidnon province.
The NGCP said in an advisory released Monday that the 34.5-kilovolt Puerto-Damilag line was restored at 11:07 a.m. Monday after experiencing an outage at 6:11 p.m. Sunday.
The transmission company said it has mobilized line crews, through aerial and ground patrols, to inspect the transmission lines and facilities hit by the impact of Tropical Cyclone Auring.
The NGCP earlier reported that apart from Bukidnon, Siargao Island, Surigao del Norte and Surigao del Sur also lost power at 9:47 p.m. Sunday.
The transmission company noted that the outages were caused either by its affected transmission facilities or the distribution facilities of electric cooperatives.
It said the distribution utilities or electric cooperatives determine the area for the power cuts
