Parts of PHL to experience light to moderate rains Friday

MANILA– Some parts of the country will experience light to moderate rains on Friday, state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

In its 24-hour forecast, PAGASA said Western Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula and the provinces of Mindoro and Palawan may experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms.

The agency also cited that the southwest monsoon is affecting the western part of Luzon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country may have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds will blow from southwest over Northern Luzon, and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from south to southwest with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said.
