MANILA-- Rains may continue to prevail over some parts of the country as the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is still affecting Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao, state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Tuesday.
In its 24-hour forecast, PAGASA said cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms will be experienced over central Visayas, Caraga, northern Mindanao, Soccsksargen, Mindoro and Palawan.
The rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, it added.
Meanwhile, light to moderate winds will blow from the southeast over Luzon and Visayas, and from south to southeast over Mindanao.
The country's coastal waters will be slight to moderate, PAGASA said.
