MANILA-- Occasional heavy rains may be experienced over the entire archipelago on Tuesday, state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
The southwest monsoon affecting western section of northern Luzon may cause cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and possible occasional heavy rains, lightning and gusty winds over Ilocos region.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers, and chances of occasional heavy rains, lightning and gusty winds due to thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, moderate to occasionally strong winds will blow from southwest over northern and western sections of northern Luzon. Coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to occasionally rough.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate blowing from south to southwest with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said.
