MANILA -- Visayas and some parts of southern Luzon will experience rains due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting these areas, state weather agency, PAGASA, said Friday.
In its 24-hour forecast, PAGASA said cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and possible occasional heavy rains, gusty winds and lightning will prevail over Visayas, Bicol, Mimaropa, Quezon and Batangas.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies, isolated light to occasionally heavy rains, gusty winds and lightning, it added.
Meanwhile, light to moderate winds will blow from southwest to southeast over Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao, and from east to southeast over the rest of Luzon.
The country's coastal waters will be slight to moderate, PAGASA said.
