MANILA-- The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao will cause rains over parts of the archipelago on Monday, state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
In its 24-hour forecast, PAGASA said cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms will be experienced over Mimaropa, Bicol, Visayas, northern Mindanao and Caraga.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, light to moderate winds will blow from southeast over Luzon and Visayas, and from south to southeast over Mindanao.
The country's coastal waters will be slight to moderate, PAGASA said.
