MANILA-- Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains may prevail over Batanes and Calayan Group of Islands on Sunday due to the northeast monsoon affecting extreme northern Luzon, state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
In its 24-hour forecast, PAGASA also said the easterlies are affecting the eastern part of the country.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, it added.
Moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from northeast to east will prevail over northern Luzon, and its coastal waters will be moderate to occasionally rough.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from east to northeast with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said.
