MANILASummer is fast approaching but isolated rainshowers will prevail in some parts of the country as the northeast monsoon affects Luzon and the tail of a cold front over eastern Visayas, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Atmospheric Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
In its 24-hour forecast, the state weather bureau said eastern and central Visayas will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms caused by the tail-end of a cold front.
The regions of Cagayan Valley, Cordillera, Bicol and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rains due to the northeast monsoon.
The rest of the country, including Metro Manila will also be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon.
Mindanao and the rest of the Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers caused by localized thunderstorms. (Lily O. Ramos/PNA)
