MANILA The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said that the northeast monsoon or amihan is affecting Northern Luzon while the tail-end of a cold front is affecting the eastern section of Central and Southern Luzon.
In its 24-hour forecast, PAGASA weather forecaster Shiela Reyes said the trough of a low pressure area (LPA) will bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Caraga, Visayas, and the rest of Mindanao.
Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, MIMAROPA and the Bicol region will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the tail end of a cold front.
Meanwhile, PAGASA said Cagayan Valley Region, Ilocos Region and the Cordillera Administrative Region will experience cloudy skies with scattered or isolated rains caused by the amihan.
Winds in Luzon, Visayas and Eastern Mindanao will be moderate while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
