MANILAThe operations of the Metro Rail Transit Line-3 (MRT-3) continues to improve and has not recorded any unloading incident for 17 consecutive days.
This is the longest streak of no unloading incident of the MRT since 2011, according to a statement from the Department of Transportation Friday.
It also surpassed the 13 consecutive days without unloading incident which was recorded from Oct. 12 to 24, 2014.
The MRT management has started implementing on 2011 its record-keeping system of the number and causes of unloading incidents of the railway system.
The MRT has also increased the number of running trains to 18 last Thursday. The last time it has fielded 18 trains was on Nov. 16, 2017.
The MRT management earlier said the arrival of more spare parts starting last February has resulted to the improvement of the railway system's operations. (PNA)
