MANILA -- Operations of the Pasig River Ferry Service have been suspended Tuesday due to heavy rains brought by tropical storm '"Isang", the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said.
The ferry service, which has 12 stations running along the cities of Pasig, Makati and Manila, will be suspended until further notice, said MMDA.
As of the latest weather advisory, the state weather bureau Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has raised the Yellow Rainfall warning over Metro Manila for possible flooding in low-lying areas.
According to PAGASA, Isang will continue to enhance the southwest monsoon that will bring light to heavy rains over Visayas and the rest of Luzon, particularly over the western section and the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).
