MANILA -- The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting southern Mindanao will cause cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over the island, the state weather bureau said Saturday.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers, on the other hand, will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country. This is due to the localized thunderstorms, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
Meanwhile, moderate to occasionally strong winds will prevail over extreme northern Luzon, and its coastal waters will be moderate to occasionally strong.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said. (PNA)
