MANILA-- Isolated rainshowers will continue to prevail over most parts of the archipelago on Monday, state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
In its 24-hour forecast, PAGASA said cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms is expected over Pangasinan, Zambales, Davao and Caraga.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstoms, it added.
The agency also cited that the ridge of a high pressure area is affecting Visayas.
Moderate to occasionally strong winds will blow from south over the western section of Luzon, and its coastal waters will be moderate to occasionally rough.
Light to moderate winds will blow from southeast to south over the rest of Luzon, and from southeast to east over Visayas and Mindanao with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said.
