‘Ineng’, southwest monsoon bring scattered rains over PH

MANILA Tropical Storm Ineng and the southwest monsoon will bring rain showers in most parts of the country on Thursday.

In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Ineng has maintained its strength. It was last observed at 840 km. east of Casiguran, Aurora, with maximum sustained winds of 65 km. per hour (kph), gustiness of up to 8 kph, and moving at 15 kph.

Due to Ineng and the southwest monsoon, Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon and the Visayas will have scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

Mindanao will have cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.

Temperature in Metro Manila will range from 24 degrees to 33 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City, 24 degrees to 33 degrees Celsius; Baguio City, 16 degrees to 21 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu, 28 degrees to 30 degrees Celsius; and Metro Davao, 25 degrees to 32 degrees Celsius. (PNA)
