HPA, easterlies to bring fair weather Tuesday

MANILA A ridge of high pressure area and the easterlies will continue to bring fair weather over the country Tuesday.

In its forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomic Services Administration (PAGASA) said the ridge of high pressure area affects northern Luzon while the easterlies will prevail over the rest of the country.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers caused by localized thunderstorms.

The eastern section of northern Luzon will have moderate to occasionally strong winds coming from east to southeast while Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have light to moderate winds coming from the east to northeast.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will also have slight to moderate coastal waters while the eastern section of northern Luzon will have moderate to occasionally rough coastal waters.

Rising temperatures will be felt across the country with Tuguegarao City expected to have the highest at 38 degrees Celsius.
