Former journalist and Philippine News Agency (PNA) editor, Roque Calicdan, has passed away at 60.
According to the Weigand Brothers website, Calicdan died at the NY Presbyterian Hospital in Flushing, New York on June 21.
As a news reporter, he traveled to different countries covering events of national interest before migrating to the United States.
He served as a senior reporter for the News and Information Bureau in 1987 and as a senior news editor from 1994 to 2002.
A funeral visitation for Calicdan will be held at the Weigand Brothers Funeral Home at 49 Hillside Ave., Williston Park, New York on July 1. (PNA)
