Former NEDA exec leads PRRD’s new appointees

MANILA MalacaAang has released a new list of presidential appointees led by Ruben Santibanez Reinoso Jr., a former assistant director general of the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA).

President Rodrigo R. Duterte appointed Reinoso on April 19 as undersecretary of the Department of Transportation (DOTr) co-terminus with the appointing authority.

Prior to his appointment to DOTr, Reinoso was assistant director-general for National Development Office for Investment Programming and Evaluation of NEDA. He will be replaced by Jonathan Luna Uy.

The Palace also announced the appointment of Sandiganbayan associate justice Keven Narce Vivero, replacing Samuel Martires, and 17 other regional and municipal trial court judges.

The new judges include Edwina Belcina Monceda of Canlon, Negros Oriental Municipal Trial Court; Rhodora Gines Arrocena, Buguey, Cagayan MTC; Redenter Dela Cruz Cardenas, Ricardo Moldez II, Rosario Ester Orda-Caise, Augusto Jose Arreza, Ma. Caridad Villamor-Yee, and Giovanni Vidal of Makati Regional Trial Court; Catherine Therese Tagle-Salvador, Josie Negros Rodil, Misael Ladaga Malabon, and Anna Michella Atanacio-Veluz of RTC-Malabon; Cynara Hannah Cayton, Caroline Tobias, and Renato Enciso, RTC-Manila; Pia Cristina Bersamin-Embuscado, RTC-Las Pinas; and, Ma. Rowena Violago Alejandria, Caloocan-RTC.

MalacaAang also announced the new list of 15 prosecutors. They are Mary Faith Poto Montederamos, Lennie Moreno-Maduay, Royce Quinones Donasco, Jennifer Grace Aquiatan Ruiz, Joseph Darren Castro Centeno, Nestor Rabulan Angeles, Julius Acampado Espina, Linalou Salva Racaza-Veloso, Anna Noreen Torres Devanadera, Janie Busque-Atienza, Rod Patri Abellera Tabunda, Rocarma Suello Nuesca � Daval del Norte, Jezreel Madera Babatid, Alejandro Abella Ferraren and Anna Khristine Curato Mongaya.

Duterte, meanwhile, appointed Sulpicio Miguel Confiado as ambassador to Egypt and Akmad Atlah Sakkam to Jordan.

Other appointees in the executive branch include Javey Paul Durban Francisco as Security and Exchange Commission commissioner; Allen Arat Capuyan, presidential adviser for Indigenous People's Concerns; Nelson Galleto Cainghog, as Commission on Higher Education director; Gelacio Dumpao Bongngat, National Bureau of Investigation Director II; Dustin Jay Abad Condez, director in Department of Budget and Management and Ermie Lagman Garon as member Philippine Commission on Women.

Junino Bonito Padilla was appointed Director III of the Presidential Communications Operations Office; Marko Romeo Lizada Fuentes and Thelma Sablay Ciudadano as Professional Regulation Commission member; Marissa Ortiz Cabreros as deputy commissioner of Bureau of International Revenue; Jose Arturo Santillan Garcia Jr. as general manager of Metropolitan Manila Development Authority; and, Engelbert Calubaquib Caronan Jr. as board member of Development Academy of the Philippines.
