MANILAUmbrellas will come in handy in the next 24 hours, as the easterlies and thunderstorms will prevail over the country until about Thursday afternoon, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
In its 4-p.m. weather bulletin, which is effective for 24 hours, PAGASA said Metro Manila and other parts of the country would experience the easterlies, which are warm winds coming from the Pacific and are ideal for cloud formation.
The state-run weather bureau further said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to local thunderstorms will also prevail over the country.
Moderate to occasionally rough coastal waters are forecast in extreme Northern Luzon caused by moderate winds.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will also have slight to moderate coastal waters pushed by light to moderate winds.
